Whale Quest Kapalua - Whale Breach
In conjunction with Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ambassadors of the Environment, Whale Quest Kapalua celebrates Maui's most famous visitors, the humpback whale, through presentations and extraordinary video footage by leading marine experts and filmakers, whale watch excursions, interactive educational displays, art and photo exhibitions, and a Charity Golf Tournament. Naturalists from leading scientific institutions join visitors and residents for this fun and interactive weekend.

Participate in a morning whale watching boat trip for a fun educational eco-tour with a Whale Quest Kapalua representative that will offer fascinating information and the latest facts on whales. The exclusive two-hour boat whale watching trips are offered each day during the event only.

Golf enthusiasts can participate in a charity tournament at Kapalua Resort's famed The Plantation Course held on Sunday, February 15. Proceeds from the golf tournament benefit non-profit research organizations: Whale Trust, Center for Whale Studies and Hawaii Whale Research Foundation.

New this year is interactive educational activities for children ages 5-12 presented by Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ambassadors of the Environment. These sessions will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Space is limited and restrictions may apply.

All events are free to the public (excluding the charity golf tournament and whale watches) and are held at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua in Kapalua Resort.
